The Fremont SKY Center started with the blessings of Shri Vethathiri Maharishi in the month of October 2007 and inagurated by the touring professors. A team of professors (Shri Balachandran, Mrs. Jayanthi Balachandran & Shri Rajasekaran) from India were on tour to many cities in USA in the year 2007 and visited our center. They have successfully conducted SKY Human Excellence Course and Kayakalpa Program both in English and Tamil for interested participants.
SKY Bay Area holds weekly meditation sessions and other SKY Programs. Members of SKY Bay area meet every Saturday for group meditation, discussions and exercise. And we also hold SKY - Online Meditation on week days 6.30AM . Online sessions are mostly conducted from Azhiar or Chennai by SKY Masters.
The world today sorely needs a lucid, holistic blend of Science and Philosophy and it is a matter of immense gratification that we find this blend in the teachings of Sri Vethathiri Maharishi. His Simple, integrated and effective system of physical exercises for maintenance of health, SKY (Simplified Kundalini Yoga) meditation and self-introspection techniques offers the much-required spiritual base for a peaceful and harmonious life.
